Teenagers who can't read

It's sad when reading in class a student is called and they CANNOT read.  How does someone get into high school if they can barely read?  I get some kids actually just weren't taught.  Their parents didn't care so neither did they.  But some kids have no excuse.  They can't pronounce words or they just are painfully slow.  Kids like this really need a special ed class. or something, to help them.  How can you get a job or go to college if you can barely read?  But, I think, it's mostly our generation just doesn't read.  It's really sad, they only read when a teacher assigns it for homework.  An even then, they'll just use Spark Notes or get a synopsis from there friend on what happened.  It's really just kind of pathetic that some teenagers can't read or refuse to.

New Music

Most new music today is crap.  It's over-commercialised garbage that really shouldn't be recorded.
In all honesty though, not ALL new music is bad, you just have to search hard for it which is a shame considering that horrible shit like Never Shout Never and Justin Bieber are so mainstream and popular people have begun to think it's good music.  Although with my generation rap and hip-hop is way more popular.  Although its a step up from Bieber it's still pretty fucking horrible.  There's almost zero talent that goes into it.  It's just kindergarden level lyrics with some wannabe hipster yelling at you trying way to hard to be taken seriously.  They just want their five seconds of fame, make some money and be done with it.  Those are all the WRONG reasons to go into to music.  Maybe the world's music executives will get their head's out of their asses and start putting out good music again.

Wannabe Stoners Kids

These assholes think there some sort of stoner "philosopher" because they smoke weed and ditch class. News flash, you aren't. Just because your gonna end up as a ditch digger because you never come to class and don't do shit if you do that doesn't make you some mysterious cool kid. Although there are some kids, mostly younger, think you cool nobody else does. Everybody smokes weed, just because you do and feel the need to tell everybody because you crave attention and feel the need to be, "different". Trust me you aren't. Your just like everybody else, no different, but the same.

Asshole Students

In almost every class there is always a group that doesn't give a shit about school.  They never shut the fuck up, make fun of everyone else, and make it a bitch to learn anything in class.  Think about it, why does the school make them come to class?  If they don't care about it, they don't, then why should they ruin it for everyone else?  They think they're cool talking non stop and making snide comments when the teacher is talking.  They obviously don't care.   Why should the students, and especially the teachers, have to deal with this?  If a kid doesn't make an effort to even try, they shouldn't be able to come to class.  Make 'em sit in the library, who cares, just get them out.

Thoughts of a High School Student

Some people might argue it helps teenagers develop into adults, maybe.  But from the view of teenagers now it's all just pretty useless.  We learn about stuff that will probably never help us in, let's say, ten or fifteen years.  We should only be taught the essentials to daily life; basic math, English, an PE to keep us fit.  All the other extra baggage can be taught to you depending on the profession you want to pursue.  Because honestly, lets face it, we won't use half the shit we learn.  For instance if you want to become a journalist, why do you need to learn about atoms and the difference between active and passive transport?  Schools should realize that nobody, beside the usual teachers pet, wants to learn about half the crap they shove into our ears six hours a day five days a week.
